We do a lot of custom trophies. Here you can get an idea of what trophies we've done in the past, what the price ranges are and what e the process is for ordering trophies from us. You can order from the form at the bottom or just e-mail the pertinent info to [email protected] to get started.
The process
Step 1: Initial request
I'll ask you for the date of your event, how many trophies you would like, what information you'd like on them, any logos/artwork/etc. that needs to be included, sizes and colors you'd like, etc. And budget. This is a big one because it lets me know how to design your trophies to get the most for the amount you'd like to spend. Tweaking the size, details and layers can help fit in a smaller budget, and we can go larger and more creative with a larger budget. If what you want ends up being well under budget, then you'll just save money. How I design the trophy depends greatly on the budget you'd like to spend, so it's an important one for me to have out of the gate. We've done trophies as budget friendly as $9.00 and as expensive as $200.00.
Step 2: Proof
After I have all the information I'll work up a first proof. This will sometimes be more of a rough draft to make sure we're on the same page before I get too far into the design. I'll adjust anything that needs to be reworked, and redesign if it wasn't what you were looking for. This is the stage where it's easy to change things, so don't be shy letting me know if something needs to be different. If everything looks right I'll continue with a final proof. Here I'll bring it into a program to give some colors and shading detail to give you a better idea of how the final product will actually look. Some things are difficult to properly convey through a graphics program, but I try. Please check this proof carefully! Dates, names, spellings, etc. are easy to miss and are much easier to correct here then after the trophy is made.
Step 3: Invoicing/creation
After the proof is finalized you'll receive an invoice. I create the cut files, cut the steel, grind, powder coat, laser and do a clear coat over lasered portions. Trophies will be carefully boxed up and shipped, generally via UPS.
Step 4: Unboxing/Your Event
Once you receive your trophies go ahead and check them over. I usually am careful to double check everything, but sometimes I still miss things and sometimes damage can happen in transit. If there is ever a problem let me know ASAP! Better to check before your event rather than find a problem the day of.
